The work of the Amenities Committee is gathering pace and in particular with a major improvement project to the hall  which includes enlarging the kitchen and the creation of a café/bar area just off the main hall. Plus further improvement projects for a hearing loop within the mail hall, further storage facilities (inside and outside) and improved access to the toilets and the side fire escape. 
 

All of the above is in addition to recent improvement projects to the lighting in the main hall, the provision of the Internet, replacement boiler, additional car parking, additional storage space and WiFi  and the addition of some fixed audio visual equipment. 

The Committee has to ensure the existing assets are maintained and safe for all to use, in particular, we need to repair or replace the soffits, fascias and barge boards on the outside of the hall and decorate the inside of the hall.

Therefore, we would welcome support from the community in several ways.  This can be by attending as many of the fund raising events as possible and getting family and friends to come to those events, providing support in running the events and promoting the hall as a facility for hire.

We aim to issue the Village Newsletter monthly containing early information on the events we are proposing to hold in the village. We hope you will be able to attend some of the events over the year.
