Chair’s Report
Village Hall Consultation Meeting
Thank you to all residents who attended the recent consultation meeting in the village hall and to those who sent submissions but were unable to be present. We had a tremendous turnout of around 40 people.
It was incredibly encouraging for the Amenities Committee to see such strong support and to receive many constructive comments and offers of help with the future activities of the village hall. Please see the next section of this newsletter for a summary report of the meeting.
Many thanks also to Anne McManus, Sophie Day, Erica Jago, and Janette Birch, who made cakes and served teas and coffees during the afternoon. The cakes were lovely—although not too good for my waistline!
Please see the feature article later in this newsletter.
